Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the E-DATA website, agent and reseller stores, USSD service and API (together, the "Service"), operated from Ghana ("E-DATA", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

E-DATA sells mobile data bundles for MTN (Yello), Telecel and AirtelTigo networks in Ghana. When you place an order, we deliver the selected bundle to the recipient phone number you provide. Bundles are supplied by the respective mobile network operators; E-DATA is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, those operators.

2. Orders and delivery

• You are responsible for entering the correct recipient phone number. Bundles delivered to a number you provided cannot be reversed.
• Most orders are delivered within minutes; all orders are processed within 24 hours.
• Some networks limit purchases to verified numbers. If a number is not yet verified, the order is not charged and the number is submitted for review before purchases are allowed.
• We may refuse, hold or cancel an order where we suspect fraud, abuse or a pricing error. Any amount already paid for a cancelled order is refunded.

3. Payments

• All payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details or mobile-money PIN.
• Prices are shown in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and may change at any time. The price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.
• Account wallets are prepaid balances used to buy bundles. Wallet balances are not interest-bearing.

4. Accounts, agents and resellers

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Agent and reseller features (storefronts, custom pricing, commissions, withdrawals) are available on application and approval. We may suspend or terminate agent or reseller access for fraud, chargebacks or breach of these Terms.
• Earnings withdrawals are paid to the mobile-money or bank details you provide and may be subject to verification.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break any law, to defraud us or others, to test stolen payment instruments, or to resell bundles in a manner that violates a network operator's terms. API access may be rate-limited or revoked for abuse.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Service availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation — delivery depends in part on the mobile network operators. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

8. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to operate the Service: contact details, recipient phone numbers, and order and payment references. We do not sell your personal data. Payment card and mobile-money details are handled by Paystack, not by us.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
